ITM Brickwork was built on years of practical experience on construction sites — starting with one bricklayer on the tools and growing into a brickwork contractor capable of managing teams of up to 18 people.
Today, we work across residential, commercial and industrial projects throughout London and neighbouring areas, while keeping the same focus on workmanship, accuracy and doing the job properly.
From Bricklayer to Brickwork Contractor
Before managing projects and leading brickwork teams, John Breabin, the founder of ITM Brickwork LTD, worked as a bricklayer — building houses, extensions, garden walls, gables and many other forms of masonry one course at a time.
That hands-on experience still shapes how ITM Brickwork operates today. There is a difference between understanding brickwork from drawings and understanding it after years spent building it.
As experience grew, so did the projects. What started with practical bricklaying developed into managing larger jobs, working alongside builders and contractors, and organising brickwork teams of up to 18 people when required.
Today, the role may involve overseeing the project and coordinating the team, but the understanding behind the work still comes from the same place — knowing how good brickwork should be built.

What We Bring to Every Project
The principles behind how ITM Brickwork works.
Practical Experience
Attention to Detail
Accountability
Reliable Site Coordination
Experience Across Different Types of Brickwork
From individual residential projects to larger construction packages.
Over the years, ITM Brickwork has worked across a wide range of projects, including houses, extensions, garden and boundary walls, gables, new builds, structural masonry and larger commercial and industrial works.
No two projects are exactly the same.
Different buildings bring different drawings, site conditions, materials, access requirements and construction details. Working across such a broad range of brickwork has developed the practical judgement needed to approach projects of different sizes and complexities with confidence.
And whether the job involves a single garden wall or a much larger brickwork package, the fundamentals remain the same: accurate setting out, consistent workmanship and a finished result that is built to last.
Built With Precision
The company has grown, but the principle behind the work has not changed.
ITM Brickwork has come a long way from the days when the focus was simply on laying the next brick.
Today, we can support everything from residential alterations and new builds to larger commercial and industrial projects.
But the principle behind the company remains straightforward:
